《GB/T 5753-2013钢丝绳芯输送带总厚度和覆盖层厚度的测定方法》由TC428（全国带轮与带标准化技术委员会）归口，TC428SC1（全国带轮与带标准化技术委员会输送带分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准规定了三种用于测定钢丝绳芯输送带总厚度和覆盖层厚度的试验方法。
本标准适用于钢丝绳芯输送带。
方法A1和A2(厚度计法)用于测定所有的钢丝绳芯输送带的总厚度和覆盖层厚度。
方法B(光学法)被推荐仅用于测定覆盖层厚度。
本标准不适用于带有织物或金属横向件或者在切割时钢丝绳端面发生扭曲的情况。

Scope

This standard specifies three test methods for determining the overall thickness and cover thickness of steel cord conveyor belts. This standard applies to steel cord conveyor belts. Methods A1 and A2 (thickness gauge method) are used to determine the total thickness and cover thickness of all steel cord conveyor belts. Method B (optical method) is recommended only for the determination of coating thickness. This standard does not apply to the case with fabric or metal transverse members or where the end face of the wire rope is twisted during cutting.
