Scope

This standard specifies four methods for determining the international hardness of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber with a flat surface and two parallel surfaces: Method N Conventional test method H High hardness test method L Low hardness test method M Micro test For the determination of the apparent hardness of curved surfaces Four methods using methods N, H, L and M are specified, respectively methods CN, CH, CL and CM.
