Scope
This standard specifies the general method for the determination of the total amount of trace inorganic nitrogen compounds by Nessler's reagent colorimetric method and salicylic acid-hypochlorite colorimetric method. This standard applies to the determination of the total amount of trace inorganic nitrogen compounds (including nitrate, nitrite and ammonium salt) in chemical reagents. The detection range of Nessler's reagent visual colorimetry and spectrophotometry is 0.05 μg/mL~0.8 μg/mL (calculated as N); the detection of salicylic acid-hypochlorite visual colorimetry and spectrophotometry The range is 0.04 μg/mL~1 μg/mL (calculated as N).
