Recommended steps:

  1. Ensure that the test environment meets the GB/T 6529 standard atmosphere requirements.
  2. Choose the appropriate group spacing (1mm or 2mm) for grouping. It is recommended to use 1mm group spacing to obtain more accurate results.
  3. Strictly control instrument parameters, including slide distance and spring pressure, to ensure compliance with calibration specification JJF(Textile)024.
  4. When calculating various indicators, pay attention to the correction of true mass and use formula (1) to weight the data.
  5. For the calculation of short fiber rate, distinguish the different limits of fine-staple cotton and long-staple cotton (16mm and 20mm) to ensure the accuracy of the results.
