1. Determination of spherical molecular sieves
Core formula: The average particle size is calculated by weighted average method, which is calculated by the mass fraction after classification of the standard test sieve and the corresponding sieve hole diameter, to ensure the accuracy of Davg = ∑(Gi×(ri+ri+1))/2.
2. Strip molecular sieve determination
Innovation: It is required to use a vernier caliper to directly measure the strip diameter, and the average calculation of 25 samples requires a measurement accuracy of 0.02mm, which is one order of magnitude higher than the old standard.
Implementation suggestions
Laboratory configuration: It is recommended to equip a standard sieve shaker with horizontal/vertical dual-mode vibration, and regularly verify the aperture accuracy of the test sieve with standard samples.
Quality control: It is recommended to pre-screen spherical samples to avoid oversized particles affecting the sieve effect; when measuring strip samples, attention should be paid to the correction of the cross-section ellipticity.
Technology Evolution Analysis
This standard introduces the concept of mass percentage of particle size distribution for the first time, replacing the original simple expression of the proportion of the sieve oversize. The 20-level test sieve aperture sequence (5.6mm-0.4mm) provided in Appendix A has established a unified particle size analysis benchmark for the molecular sieve industry.
