《GB/T 6464-1997金属及其覆盖层大气腐蚀试验现场试验的一般要求》由TC183（全国钢标准化技术委员会）归口，TC183SC11（全国钢标准化技术委员会金属和合金的腐蚀分会）执行，主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
本标准规定了大气条件下金属及其覆盖层的静置腐蚀试验一般要求。这种试验可在露天或有遮蔽条件下进行。本标准涉及的试验材料还包括其他无机覆盖层。本标准也适用于室内试验。

Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for static corrosion tests of metals and their coatings under atmospheric conditions. This test can be carried out in the open air or under sheltered conditions. The test materials involved in this standard also include other inorganic coatings. This standard also applies to indoor tests.
