Scope

This standard specifies the terminology of the rim profile, the detection position and detection items of the profile shape, as well as the design and use of the ball tape ruler, flat tape ruler and gauge. This standard is applicable to the detection of the following rim contour shapes: 5° deep groove rim (5° DC), 15° deep groove rim (15° DC), half deep groove rim, 5° flat bottom rim (5° FB), full slope Bottom rim.
