Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for low alloy steel forgings for cryogenic pressure vessels. This standard applies to low-alloy steel forgings for cryogenic pressure vessels with design temperatures equal to or lower than -20°C and design pressures not greater than 35MPa.
