Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings of coupling capacitors and capacitive voltage dividers. This standard applies to the following capacitors: a) Coupling capacitors for power line carrier systems with a power frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz and a carrier frequency range of 30 to 500 kHz; b) Capacitive voltage dividers of capacitive voltage transformers; c) There is a Capacitors for overvoltage protection and other similar purposes with terminals permanently grounded or at low potential.
