Scope

This standard specifies the principles, instruments and equipment, specimens, test procedures and result calculations for measuring the transmittance of bulk translucent fine ceramics at room temperature using a spectrophotometer and integrating sphere. This standard is suitable for testing the transmittance of lower block light-transmitting fine ceramic materials.
