Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, raw material requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of barium sulfate radiation protection panels. This document applies to barium sulfate radiation protection panels used to shield X-rays and gamma rays, and are mainly used for indoor walls or ceilings in hospital radioactive diagnosis and treatment equipment rooms.
