Scope

This standard specifies the principles, instruments and equipment, sample preparation, sample determination and result expression for rapid screening and quantitative determination of cadmium content using X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of cadmium content in rice and its products. The detection limit of the quantitative determination method is 0.046 mg/kg, and the quantitation limit is 0.15 mg/kg.
