Introduction

Core framework of the standard

Dimensions Technical requirements Key points for implementation
Spatial model Four-dimensional structure of longitude/latitude/altitude/time WGS-84 coordinate system is used, with an altitude accuracy of 0.01 meters
Configuration classification Airport surface/polygon/sector shape A buffer radius of 7070 meters is required for civil airport protection zones
Time specification UTC time format Permanently valid identification is UTC 9999

Analysis of key technologies

1. Fence configuration design

The standard defines three typical configurations:

  • Obstacle limitation surface for civil airports: includes 19 key coordinate nodes and 7 arc parameters
  • Polygonal fence: the number of vertices is ≥3, and the first and last coordinates must be closed
  • Sector-shaped fence: the radius (meter-level accuracy), start and end true azimuths must be defined

2. Safety capability classification

Grade Core functions Response time
Level 1-3 Basic warning/automatic hovering >60 seconds
Level 4-6 Automatic return/forced landing ≤30 seconds

Implementation Suggestions

Airport protection zone application case

Capital Airport adopts polygonal + sector composite configuration:

  1. A sector-shaped no-fly zone with a radius of 7070 meters is set at the end of the runway
  2. Polygonal fences are used around the terminal
  3. Height restrictions are controlled in a hierarchical manner (0-500 meters is an absolute no-fly zone)

Analysis of Standard Evolution

Main upgrades compared with AC-91-FS-2015-31:

  • Added time dimension control (supports temporary airspace management)
  • Refine the data structure specification (longitude and latitude are stored in Int32*1e7 format)
  • Establish a 6-level safety capability system
