Scope

This part specifies the relevant requirements for the first-level probabilis ic safety assessment (PSA) of internal events in low power and shutdown conditions to ensure that standardized PSA models that meet the corresponding quality requirements are developed for nuclear power units of different design schemes. This section is applicable to the first-level PSA for internal events (but not including internal dis sters, such as internal flooding, internal fire, etc.) under low power and shutdown conditions of light water pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants during the design stage, construction stage and operation stage. Nuclear power plants with other reactor types can refer to this implementation. The radioactive source terms involved in this section only consider radioactivity from the core fuel.
