Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life of fatty acid diethanolamine (6501 for short), a raw material for cosmetics. This standard applies to fatty acyl diethanolamines produced by the reaction of coconut oil, palm kernel oil and their derivatives with diethanolamine for cosmetic use.
