Analysis of key acceptance indicators

1. Grounding device requirements

The spacing between artificial grounding electrodes should be maintained at 5m, the burial depth should be >0.5m, and the distance from the building foundation should be ≥1m.

  • Flat steel-flat steel: ≥2 times the width
  • Round steel-round steel: ≥6 times the diameter

2. Downconductor Installation

Laying methodFixed spacingBending radius
Exposed horizontal conductor500mm (flat steel)
1000mm (round steel)
≥10 times the diameter/6 times the width
Vertical conductorUniform 1000mm

Key points for acceptance in special locations

1.

Special attention should be paid to gas stations:

  1. Storage tank flange transition resistance ≤ 0.03Ω
  2. SPD installation location should avoid explosion-proof areas
  3. Metal pipes need to be jumpered every 30m

2. Petrochemical plants

Floating roof tank requirements:

  • Connecting wire cross-sectional area ≥ 50mm²
  • Connection point spacing ≤ 18m
  • Drainage pipes need to be jumpered separately

Key parameters for SPD installation

Equipment typeImpact voltage (kV)Connection line length limit
Class I (electronic equipment)1.5≤0.5m (or Kevin wiring)
Class III (distribution equipment)4
Voltage-limiting SPD spacing≥5m

Implementation suggestions

  1. Concealed projects must retain weld photos and ground resistance test records
  2. Key locations should undergo special testing of transition resistance
  3. SPDs must undergo Up/f value verification after installation
  4. Concealed lightning conductors should be used as a priority for lightning protection in historic buildings
