Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometry method for the determination of 4,4′-diaminodiphenylmethane in food simulants. This standard is applicable to the determination of 4,4′-diaminodiphenylmethane in four food simulants: water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution and isooctane. The lower limit of determination of 4,4′-diaminodiphenylmethane in the three aqueous food simulants of this standard, water, 3% (mass concentration) acetic acid solution, and 10% (volume fraction) ethanol solution, is 0.001 mg/L, and the lower limit of determination of 4,4′-diaminodiphenylmethane in isooctane food simulant is 0.001 mg/kg.
