Introduction
Standard Background and Scope of Application
This standard is equivalent to the international standard EN 1186-10:2002, and proposes an improvement plan for the incomplete extraction problem that occurs when testing the total migration of polymer materials in olive oil simulant. It is applicable to full immersion test scenarios within the temperature range of 5℃-175℃.

Key instrument requirements
The experiment requires the following equipment: centrifuge (≥5000r/min), reflux device, gas chromatograph and other equipment. Glassware such as centrifuge tubes and flasks must meet the accuracy requirements of GB/T 12804-2008.
Operation process optimization
- Pretreatment stage: Prepare the sample according to SN/T 2334-2009, and use an antistatic gun to eliminate interference
- Extraction stage: Use gradient solvent treatment (dichloromethane→KOH solution→methanol)
- Derivatization stage: Strictly control the amount of BF3-methanol added to 5±0.2mL
- Result calculation: Correction calculation according to the formula M=[(m₁-(m₂-m₀))-mₐ]×1000/S
Key points of quality control
- Parallel test ≥3 times, 1 outlier is allowed to be eliminated
- When the migration amount is >100mg, the amount of internal standard needs to be increased
- Temperature control deviation does not exceed ±1℃
- Result report is accurate to 1mg/dm²
Implementation suggestions
Laboratories should note: For PVC materials, tetrahydrofuran solvent is preferred, and PE materials are recommended to use xylene; when there are interferences in the sample, refer to Appendix A for method suitability verification.
