SN/T 4687-2016 is a specialized testing standard developed in my country for the electromagnetic compatibility performance of electric toys. It is equivalent to international standards such as CISPR 14-1/2 and specifies EMC measurement methods for the frequency range of 148.5kHz-1GHz. The standard was published on December 12, 2016, and implemented on July 1, 2017.

1. Conducted Disturbance Test
Measured using Artificial Source Network (LISN), requirements:
- Test distance: 1 meter horizontal coupling
- Limit value reduction: 20dB per decade from 0.15-0.5MHz
- Ground plane size: 2m×1m
2. Radiated Immunity Test
Implemented in accordance with GB/T 17626.3:
- Field strength: 3V/m (80MHz-1GHz)
- Modulation mode: 1kHz sine wave 80% amplitude modulation
- Scan rate: ≤1.5×10-3 decade/second
Implementation recommendations
Test layout principles
For battery-operated toys, the following should be applied:
- Use a metal ground plane to extend to 0.5m outside the EUT boundary
- Non-conductive support height ≤10cm
- Cables hang naturally to form a 30-40cm loop
Result judgment method
Use the quartile method to process click rate data:
- Continuous observation time ≥1 minute
- Calculate the interference level at the 75th percentile
- Single click duration ≤ 200ms

Main differences between this standard and the 2011 version of CISPR 14-1:
- Added specific test requirements for video toys
- Extended the upper limit of radiation test to 1GHz
