Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

Technical parameters Flucetosulfuron-methyl Flucetosulfuron-methyl
Limit of quantification 5.0 μg/kg 5.0 μg/kg
Retention time (min) 4.69 5.69
Quantitative ion pairs (m/z) 397.1/130.0 488.5/156.0

Method Principle and Technology Evolution

This standard uses liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry/mass spectrometer for detection. Compared with the traditional GC method:

  • Sensitivity is improved by 10 times (quantification limit 5μg/kg)
  • Introduction of dispersed solid phase extraction purification technology, the recovery rate is increased to 80-115%
  • Matrix matching calibration is used to eliminate matrix effects

Key Operation Points

Sample Pretreatment Differences

Graphitized carbon black (GCB) needs to be added to vegetables and fruits to remove pigment interference, while grains and nuts only need C18 purification. For example, when extracting tomato samples, adding 50mg C18 and 30mg GCB can achieve the best purification effect.

Implementation suggestions

  1. Different matrices should use different amounts of water (5mL for vegetables vs. 7mL for cereals)
  2. Note that the standard solution should be stored at 4°C away from light (6 months for stock solution and 2 months for working solution)
  3. When optimizing mass spectrometry parameters, focus on the fragmentation voltage (80V for flutosulfuron-methyl and 120V for flutosulfuron-methyl)
