Scope
This standard specifies the engineering design, construction preparation, construction procedures, construction quality control and safety of open hole completion and casing completion gravel packing sand control technology and technical requirements. This standard is applicable to gravel-packing sand control for open-hole completions and casing completions of vertical wells and directional wells, but is not applicable to fracturing gravel-packing sand control.
