Scope

The main technical changes are as follows:
a) The detection limit and quantification limit have been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2021 edition).
b) The quantitative method in the principle section has been modified (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2021 edition).
c) Added methanol water solution (2%), melatonin standard intermediate solution I, melatonin standard intermediate solution II, deuterated melatonin standard sample, deuterated melatonin standard working solution, and HLB (hydrophilic/lipophilic balance) solid-phase extraction column; added two concentration levels of the standard curve: 1 μg/L and 2 μg/L, and removed the 0.02 μg/L concentration level (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the 2021 edition).
d) Added a nitrogen evaporator and removed pipettes (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the 2021 edition).
e) Added purification steps (see Section 8.3, Section 8.2 of the 2021 edition).
f) Added deuterated melatonin quantitative ion pairs (see Section 8.4.2, Section 8.4 of the 2021 edition).
g) Modified how to prepare the standard curve for quantification (see Section 8.4.4, Section 8.3 of the 2021 edition).
h) Changed data processing in experiments (see Chapter 9, Chapter 9 of the 2021 edition).
