Scope

1. Scope and Normative References
This inherent chapter of the standard lists the scope of application, applicable conditions, and referenced documents.

2. Requirements
It specifies that the product shall be a white crystalline substance and sets requirements for its melting point, moisture content, imidazole content, 1-methoxymethylimidazole, 2-methylimidazole, and 4-methylimidazole physical and chemical indicators.

3. Testing Methods
The testing methods for the indicators specified in "2. Requirements" are outlined. Based on the actual production situation of the enterprise and relevant standard requirements, the determination of imidazole content and impurities is conducted using an area normalization method.

4. Inspection Rules
It specifies the batching, sampling, and judgment criteria for product inspections.

5. Marking, Packaging, Transportation, and Storage
According to the characteristics of chemical products, it stipulates the content and requirements for product marking; packaging materials required for internal and external packaging; and relevant regulations that should be followed during transportation and storage.
