Introduction
Overview of the core content of the standard
WS 76-2020 integrates 7 old standards, adds new DSA equipment testing requirements, and revises technical indicators such as low-contrast resolution of perspective. The standard applies to the quality control of X-ray photography, perspective, dental and breast equipment, and clarifies the three-level testing system of acceptance testing, status testing and stability testing.
Key test items and technical indicators
| Equipment type | Core test items | Acceptance criteria | Status test cycle |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fluoroscopic equipment | Incident body surface air kerma rate | ≤25.0 mGy/min | 1 year |
| DR equipment | Detector dose indication (DDI) | ±20% deviation | 1 year |
| Breast equipment | Half-value layer (HVL) | Mo/Mo target: 0.30-0.40mmAl | 1 year |
Implementation points and case analysis
Case: DR equipment signal transmission characteristics detection
When a hospital used the Siemens Mobilett Mira Max DR equipment, it was found that the image grayscale was abnormal. According to WS 76-2020 requirements:
- Set 70kV/1mmCu filtration and take 5 dose exposures in the range of 1-30μGy
- Measure the average pixel value of the ROI in the center of the preprocessed image
- Linear fitting R² must be ≥0.98 (acceptance) or ≥0.95 (status detection)
The detection found that R²=0.92, indicating a nonlinear response of the detector, which was restored to 0.99 after calibration.
Standard Evolution and Innovation
Main changes compared with the 2017 version:
- Added DSA dynamic range detection: Requires 0.4mm vascular simulation components to be visible in full grayscale
- Strengthen low contrast requirements: The contrast threshold for acceptance inspection of fluoroscopic equipment is reduced from 4% to 2%
- Special for digital equipment: Added DR afterimage detection (pixel value error ≤ 5%)
