Standard Background and Significance

XF 1025-2012 was issued and implemented by the Ministry of Emergency Management, replacing the original GA 1025-2012 standard. As the core basis for technical appraisal of fire protection products, this standard stipulates the fire safety technical requirements for 19 major categories of products such as fire alarm equipment and fire extinguishers, and plays an important role in ensuring the quality of fire protection products and promoting technological innovation.

Key technical requirements

1. Fire alarm products

Functional requirements:Alarm response time ≤30s, system compatibility must comply with GB 22134. The memory must ensure 14 days of data retention.

Safety requirements:Insulation resistance ≥50MΩ, enclosure protection level not less than IP30, key component temperature rise ≤60℃.

2. Fire extinguisher products

Case:The explosion test of portable fire extinguisher requires volume expansion ≥10%, cart type ≥15%, and must be plastic failure.

Implementation Suggestions

Manufacturers should establish a full-process quality control system, with a focus on monitoring the mandatory provisions of Chapter 4.5
Testing agencies should be equipped with professional equipment such as salt spray test chambers and glowing wire testers
Users should regularly check the integrity of product markings, especially the 90-minute emergency working time of fire emergency lighting

Technology Evolution Analysis

Compared with the old version of the standard, the following have been strengthened:

Electrical safety parameters (leakage current reduced from 1mA to 0.5mA)
Environmental adaptability requirements (newly added radio frequency electromagnetic field immunity test)
Material environmental protection (it is clarified that flame retardant materials must meet GB 8624 B1 level)
