Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the collection, production, storage and transportation of tobacco leaf samples during the tobacco field period and curing process. This standard is applicable to the preparation of samples for molecular biology testing of flue-cured tobacco. Other types of tobacco such as burley tobacco and oriental tobacco can be used as a reference.
