Scope

This standard specifies the classification, composition, requirements, and test methods of medical therapeutic X-ray machines. This standard applies to medical treatment X-ray machines (hereinafter referred to as treatment machines) powered by AC power and with a nominal X-ray tube voltage of 10kV ~ 40OkV.
