Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for bandages used in first aid. Rescue bandages include sterile compressed bandages and square wraps, as well as non-sterile gauze bandages, elastic bandages and triangular wraps. The product can be packed into various first-aid kits for emergency rescue by ambulance personnel at the injury scene.
