Scope

This standard gives general guidelines for the application of sensory analysis, expounds various inspection methods in food sensory analysis, and the technical methods that need to be used in the statistical analysis of results. The test methods in this standard are only applicable to objective sensory analysis. Whether a certain test method can be used for preference test is stated in the standard.
