Interpretation of the core content of the standard

GB/T 11357-2020 replaces the 2008 version of the standard. The main technical changes include:

  • Material expansion: New modern materials such as aluminum alloy and engineering plastics
  • Precision improvement: The surface roughness Ra value of high-performance transmission is increased from 3.2μm to 1.6μm
  • Balancing specification: Introducing the aspect ratio (l/d) as the basis for selecting the balancing method

Surface treatment specifications

Automobile engine Multi-V pulley case:

  1. Wheel groove working surface must reach Ra1.6μm
  2. Edge chamfer radius ≥0.3mm
  3. Dynamic balancing level requirement is G6.3

Balancing implementation points

Calculate the critical speed according to the formula n1 = 1.58×1011/ld:

  • Forced static balancing when the aspect ratio is ≤0.2
  • Dynamic balancing is recommended for synchronous pulleys with a speed of >6000rpm
  • Residual unbalance ≤0.2% equivalent mass
