1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings of mining electrical apparatus for non-hazardous area (hereinafter referred to as “apparatus”).
This standard is applicable to the manufacture and inspection of electrical apparatus used in coal mine areas without gas and dust explosion as well as underground industrial department such as non-coal mines.
This standard is not applicable to cables and wires.
