《GB/T 12975-1991船用同步发电机通用技术条件》由604-2（中国电器工业协会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准规定了2500kW(50Hz和60Hz)以下船用同步发电机及其励磁装置的基本参数、技术要求、试验方法和检验规则、包装等内容。本标准适用于由内燃机驱动，用作船舶和海上石油平台电站的同步发电机及其励磁装置。本标准对用汽轮机拖动的发电机、轴带发电机和容量超过2500kW的船用发电机，亦可参照采用。

Scope

This standard specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, packaging, etc. of marine synchronous generators below 2500kw (50Hz and 60Hz) and their excitation devices. This standard applies to synchronous generators and their excitation devices driven by internal combustion engines and used as ships and offshore oil platform power stations. This standard can also be adopted by reference to generators driven by steam turbines, shaft generators and marine generators with a capacity exceeding 2500kw.
