Scope

This standard specifies the performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of ballasts for tubular fluorescent lamps. This standard applies to ballasts powered by AC power below 500V and 50Hz (excluding resistive ballasts), which comply with the provisions of GB10682 with their rated power, size and characteristics, preheating with starter or without starter Matched with cathode-type tubular fluorescent lamps. This standard applies to the complete ballast and its various components, such as resistors, transformers and capacitors. Note: For 60Hz AC power ballasts and ballasts used for lamps whose parameters are not provided in GB10682, refer to the technical parameters in IEC81, but the performance requirements must meet this standard.
