Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the tensile properties of synthetic fiber filaments. This standard applies to synthetic fiber filaments (including pre-oriented filaments, drawn filaments and textured filaments). Synthetic fiber filaments extracted from the fabric can be used by reference. This standard does not apply to filaments whose elongation is greater than 0.5% when the tension increases from 0.05 cN/dtex to 0.1 cN/dtex.
