本标准代替GB/T14850―1993《气体分析词汇》。本标准规定了用于气体分析及气体分析用校准混合气的相关术语。本标准与GB/T14850―1993相比主要差异如下:
―――删除了GB/T14850―1993中的第2章“引用标准”、第5章“专用分析方法”、第7章“其他术语”、第8章“气体分析辅助设备”、第9章“符号”以及附录A、附录B、附录C、附录D 等;
―――调整、修改了标准各章、条的结构和内容:修改了通用术语(本版的第2章,1993年版的3.1),
修改了气体的物理性质和定律的相关术语(本版的第3章,1993年版的第6章),修改了校准气体术语(版的第4章,1993年版的3.4),修改了气体标准样品制备方法术语(本版的第5章,1993年版的3.3),修改了气体标准样品稳定性相关术语(本版的第6 章,1993 年版的3.5),修改了气体分析相关的术语(本版的第7章,1993年版的第4章),修改了气体分析及气体标准样品所涉及的计量术语(本版的第8章,1993年版的3.2)等;
―――增加了术语索引。
