Scope

This section gives the basic ratings and characteristics of the following types and classifications of optoelectronic devices, except those used in optical fiber systems or subsystems. - Semiconductor optoelectronic emitting devices, including: light emitting diodes (LEDs); infrared emitting diodes (IREDs); laser diodes. - Semiconductor photodetection devices, including: photodiodes; phototransistors. - Semiconductor photosensitive devices. - Semiconductor devices that operate with optical radiation inside, including: Optocouplers.
