《GB/T 16593-1996旋转轴唇形密封圈术语》由TC35（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会）归口，TC35SC3（全国橡胶与橡胶制品标准化技术委员会密封制品分会）执行，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准规定了旋转轴唇形密封圈的有关技术术语和专用术语，并以汉英对照的形式给出了相应的定义。本标准适用于旋转轴唇形密封圈的型式，密封装置的各种零部件，公差与配合，贮存维护和安装，外观缺陷以及通用性能试验方法。

Scope

This standard stipulates the relevant technical terms and special terms of the lip seal ring of the rotary shaft, and gives the corresponding definitions in the form of Chinese-English comparison. This standard is applicable to the types of lip seal rings of rotating shafts, various parts of sealing devices, tolerances and fits, storage maintenance and installation, appearance defects and general performance test methods.
