本标准描述了用于测量充满封闭管道中导电液体流量的工业电磁流量计的原理和主要设计特点,并涉及它们的安装、运行、特性以及校准。本标准不规定流量计在危险环境中应用的安全防护要求。它不适用于导磁性浆液及液态金属的测量,也不适用于有卫生要求的场合。本标准包括交流励磁型和脉冲直流励磁型两种流量计。
Scope
This standard describes the principle and main design features of industrial electromagnetic flowmeters for measuring the flow of conductive liquids filled in closed pipes, and deals with their installation, operation, characteristics and calibration. This standard does not specify the safety protection requirements for flowmeters used in hazardous environments. It is not suitable for the measurement of magnetic slurry and liquid metal, nor for occasions with hygienic requirements. This standard includes two types of flowmeters, AC excitation type and pulsed DC excitation type.
