Scope

This part of GB/T 20257 specifies the symbols, annotations and frame finishing of various features and plow elements represented on the 1:5 000.1:10 000 topographic map, as well as the methods and basic requirements for using these symbols. This part applies to the surveying and mapping of 1:5 000.1:10 000 topographic maps, and can be used as a reference for the compilation of geographic base maps.
