Introduction
1. Standard overview and updates
GB/T 22093—2018 replaces the old version GB/T 22093—2008. The main revisions include:
- The measuring range is extended to 1000~6000mm;
- The definition and locking device requirements of Type A electronic digital internal micrometer are added;
- The maximum allowable error of indication and repeatability indicators are optimized.
2. Interpretation of Technical Requirements

3. Analysis of Inspection Methods
Indication Error Inspection: Use a standard gauge block or calibration ring gauge to measure evenly distributed points within the measuring range, and calculate the difference between the displayed value and the standard value.
Repeatability test: Measure 5 times continuously under the same conditions, and the maximum difference is the repeatability index.
4. Environmental adaptability test
- Waterproof and dustproof level: IP40;
- Temperature change test: ±15°C, relative humidity ≤80%;
- Anti-static interference and electromagnetic interference ability: meet the first-level standard of GB/T17626.2-2006.
5. Implementation suggestions
Equipment selection: According to the measuring range and accuracy requirements, type A or type E micrometers are preferred.
Calibration and maintenance: Use standard ring gauges or gauge blocks for regular calibration to ensure that the indication error is within the allowable range.
