Analysis of Key Technical Indicators

The new standard divides silicon polycrystalline into four grades: special grade to grade 3, including:

  • Donor impurities (P/As/Sb): Special grade requires ≤1.5×1013cm-3, 20% tighter than the 2017 version
  • Carbon content: The limit for each grade is uniformly relaxed by 0.5×1016cm-3 to adapt to the modified Siemens process
  • Base metal: New ultra-high purity requirement of 8M grade (≤8ng/g)

Test method upgrade

Take surface metal testing as an example:

  1. Arbitration method: Clearly adopt the GB/T 24582 acid leaching-ICP-MS method
  2. Sampling specification: Requires preparation of zone-melting single crystal specimens in accordance with GB/T 29057
  3. Equipment requirements: ICP-MS detection limit must reach 0.01ppbw
