Scope

This standard stipulates the basic requirements for the operation and maintenance personnel of wind turbines; specifies the main contents such as the test run instructions, operation manuals and maintenance manuals of the wind turbines. This standard applies to fixed-pitch, variable-pitch and variable-speed variable-pitch, horizontal-axis, and upwind wind turbines with a capacity above 100kW. This standard applies to the operation and maintenance of wind turbines by manufacturers or users.
