Scope
This standard gives guidance for the pre-cooling and refrigerated transport of early potatoes intended for direct consumption or for processing. This standard applies to early-maturing potatoes that are directly sold after harvesting. Generally, they are harvested before they are fully mature, and the outer skins are easy to remove.
