Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the heat resistance of electrical insulating varnishes. This method is to determine the heat resistance by measuring the electrical strength of the insulating varnish coated on the glass cloth before and after heat aging. This standard is used to evaluate the temperature index in order to determine the applicability of electrical insulating varnishes in electrical systems.
