Scope
This document specifies the voltage markings and materials, product naming, conductors, insulation, shielding, cable core, inner lining and filler, metal layers, outer sheath, inspection rules, markings, labels and accompanying documents, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for 35kV (Um=40.5kV) aluminum alloy core extruded insulated power cables, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to 35kV (Um=40.5kV) fixed-installation aluminum alloy core extruded insulated power cables. This document does not apply to cables under special installation and operating conditions, such as overhead cables, mining industry cables, nuclear power plant cables (within and near containment facilities), and underwater or marine cables.
