《GB/T 32379-2015矿物棉及其制品甲醛释放量的测定》由TC191(全国绝热材料标准化技术委员会)归口,主管部门为中国建筑材料联合会。
本标准规定了以下3种测定矿物棉及其制品中甲醛释放量的方法:
―――干燥器法;
―――气体分析法;
―――1立方米气候箱法。
本标准适用于岩棉、玻璃棉、矿渣棉、硅酸铝棉等矿物棉及其制品甲醛释放量的测定,也适用于矿物
棉天花板甲醛释放量的测定。

GB/T 32379-2015 Interpretation of the standard for the determination of formaldehyde emission from mineral wool and its products

1. Background and significance of the standard

GB/T 32379-2015 is a national standard of the People's Republic of China, which mainly regulates the determination method of formaldehyde emission from mineral wool and its products. The standard was officially implemented on November 1, 2016, and is managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Thermal Insulation Materials, and drafted by Nanjing Fiberglass Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd.

2. Scope of application of the standard

This standard applies to the following mineral wool and their products:

  • Rock wool
  • Glass wool
  • Slag wool
  • Alumina silica fiber

3. Comparison of main measurement methods

Measurement method Principle Scope of application Advantages and disadvantages analysis
Dryer method The formaldehyde released by the sample is collected in a closed environment and quantitatively analyzed using a spectrophotometer. Suitable for small batch sample testing. Easy to operate, but the testing cycle is long.
Gas analysis method Simulates actual environmental conditions and collects formaldehyde concentration through a dynamic air circulation system. Suitable for large-scale production quality control. The equipment is more complex, but the results are closer to the actual use environment.
1 cubic meter climate chamber method Simulates actual indoor conditions under a constant temperature and humidity environment, and monitors formaldehyde release for a long time. Suitable for studying the long-term stability of materials. High equipment requirements, but the data accuracy is the best.

4. Implementation suggestions and precautions

Implementation suggestions:

  • Choose the appropriate method according to the testing needs: For small batch samples, the desiccator method is recommended, while for long-term stability studies, the climate chamber method is used.
  • Ensure equipment calibration: Spectrophotometers, balances and constant temperature water baths need to be calibrated regularly to ensure measurement accuracy.
  • Operator training: It is recommended to conduct systematic training for testing personnel, focusing on mastering the standard curve drawing and abnormal handling process.
