《GB/T 32552-2016无缝和焊接钢管(埋弧焊除外)的自动全圆周超声厚度检测》由TC183(全国钢标准化技术委员会)归口,TC183SC19(全国钢标准化技术委员会钢产品无损检测分会)执行,主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
Introduction
Analysis of the core content of the standard
This standard is equivalent to ISO 10893-12:2011, which specifies the full-circumference ultrasonic wall thickness testing technology system for seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes (mainly electric welded pipes).
Key technical requirements
| Detection elements | Basic requirements | Special provisions |
|---|---|---|
| Detection range | Outer diameter ≥25.4mm, wall thickness ≥2.6mm | Circular hollow profiles can be implemented as a reference |
| Scan coverage | ≥10% surface area | Can be carried out simultaneously with layered detection |
| Probe size | Single probe ≤25mm | Large probe verification report is required |
Equipment Calibration Specifications
Typical case: A petroleum casing manufacturer uses a phased array ultrasonic system. During calibration, a comparison sample with a wall thickness tolerance of ±0.05mm is used. Calibration is conducted every 2 hours to ensure that the detection accuracy is stable within the range of ±0.12mm.
Key Control Points:
- Static Verification Accuracy: ±0.10mm or ±2% (whichever is greater)
- Dynamic Additional Tolerance: +0.05mm or +1% (whichever is greater)
- Verification Frequency: ≤4 hours/time
Implementation Suggestions
1. Staff Training: Inspection personnel must obtain ISO 9712 or GB/T 9445 Level 2 or above qualifications, and the employer should establish an operation authorization system
2. Process Verification: Before the new specification steel pipe is put into production, detection capability verification is required to prove that the system can identify the minimum thickness deviation specified in the agreement
3. Data traceability: It is recommended to use a digital system to record verification data, test spectra and judgment results, and the storage period should be no less than the product warranty period
