Example 1: Battery safety
An educational robot is powered by lithium batteries and must be marked with waterproof and child use warnings in obvious locations in accordance with the requirements of clause 4.2.5. In addition, the battery pack must have an automatic stop charging function to prevent safety hazards caused by overcharging.
Example 2: Movement restrictions
Mobile educational robots need to be equipped with obstacle avoidance sensors (such as laser or infrared) to detect surrounding obstacles and stop immediately when a collision is detected. This meets the requirements of clause 4.11.1 to ensure the safety of child users.
