Introduction
Polyacrylate rubber: In-depth interpretation of GB/T33428-2016 standard
1. Background and significance of the standard
Polyacrylate rubber (Polyacrylubber) is an important synthetic rubber material, widely used in the fields of automobiles, construction, chemicals, etc. The GB/T33428-2016 standard is formulated to regulate the production and application of polyacrylate rubber and ensure that its quality and performance meet market demand.
2. Comparison of standard frameworks
| Standard dimensions | GB/T33428-2016 | Comparison standards |
|---|---|---|
| Technical requirements | Specify indicators such as volatile matter, ash content, and Mooney viscosity | GB/T528-2006 Tensile properties of vulcanized rubber |
| Evaluation methods | Appendix A specifies sample preparation and vulcanization conditions in detail | GB/T6038-2006 Preparation of rubber test compounds |
| Scope of application | Applicable to polyacrylate rubber made by emulsion polymerization | No specific standard |
3. Naming and brand of polyacrylate rubber
According to GB/T5576, the code of polyacrylate rubber is ACM. Its brand consists of three parts:
- Part 1:Variety code ACM
- Part 2:Three Arabic numerals, representing the cold resistance grade, vulcanization point monomer type and antioxidant information.
- Part 3:Additional information, such as low oil resistance (L) or specific modified monomer (X).
4. Technical requirements and evaluation methods
Table 1 lists the technical indicators of polyacrylate rubber in detail, including volatile matter, ash content, Mooney viscosity and vulcanized rubber properties. For example:
- Volatile matter/%: ≤1.3 (GB/T24131-2009)
- Ash content/%: ≤1.3 (GB/T4498.1-2013)
- Mooney viscosity ML(1+4) 100℃:Depending on the grade, the range is 35±10 to 55±10.
5. Implementation Suggestions
To ensure that the quality and performance of polyacrylate rubber meet the GB/T33428-2016 standard, it is recommended that:
- Naming and classification should be carried out strictly in accordance with the grade rules specified in the standard.
- During the production and inspection process, focus on key indicators such as volatile matter, ash content and Mooney viscosity.
- Use the sample preparation method specified in Appendix A to ensure that the vulcanization conditions meet the requirements.
