Analysis of key technical points

Innovative design of sampling scheme: The standard adopts the LTPD (lot allowable non-conforming rate) sampling model. When LTPD=10, 22 pieces are sampled for the first time. If 1 piece is found to be unqualified, 16 pieces are added for re-testing. The secondary sampling mechanism significantly reduces the risk of misjudgment.

ESD test requirements for optoelectronic modules are strictly differentiated:
1. Threshold test (human body model): grading judgment 0-3B level (250V-8000V)
2. Immunity test: contact discharge up to 8kV, air discharge 15kV


Standard evolution and implementation suggestions

Compared with the old version of the standard, GB/T 33768-2017 mainly strengthens:
1. Added special test of torsion/lateral tension for optical fiber devices
2. Introduced lead-free solder solderability test (Sn95.5Ag3.9Cu0.6 alloy)
3. Improved flammability classification standards (V-0/V-1/V-2)

Implementation precautions:
1. The mechanical test needs to ensure that the fixture is rigidly fixed to avoid "secondary impact"
2. The heating and cooling rate of the temperature cycle test needs to be ≥10℃/min
3. The sealing test needs to be performed with a fine leak check (nitrogen mass spectrometer) first and then a rough leak check (fluorine oil method)
